Obituary of Sharon Lynn Muth

Sharon Lynn Muth, 72, of Bath, NY, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. She was born December 31, 1944 in Bath, NY to the late Theodore and Blanche (Caffrey) Muth. Sharon graduated from Goshen College with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Brockport State with a Masters Degree in Education and Elmira College with School District Administration Certification. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a lifelong educator, eventually retiring as a Principal for the Penn Yan Central School District. Surviving are her sister Gail (Richard) Martin of Bath, NY; niece, Susan Martin of Bath, NY; sister-in-law, Audrey Muth of Avoca, NY and nephew, David Muth of Fairport, NY. She was predeceased by brother, Theodore Muth. Family and friends are invited to call at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 W. Morris St., Bath, NY on Saturday, January 7th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with service to follow at the funeral home at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Sharon's name be made to the Youth Fund at the First Presbyterian Church in Bath or the Youth Fund at the Hammondsport Methodist Church.
