Obituary of Stanley J. Trusievitz

Stanley J. Trusievitz, age 83 of Bath, NY, died Monday, January 9, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born January 2, 1934 in Bradford, NY the son of Samuel and Rose (Wasel) Trusievitz. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving from 1952-1955 during the Korean War. Mr. Trusievitz had been employed over the years at the Taylor Winery in Hammondsport, NY, Central Tractor in Painted Post, NY, Bath VAMC and he retired from Steuben County where he worked as a custodian.
He was married to Joyce (Allen) Trusievitz for 61 years. He is survived by his wife; children, Marie Watson (Wayne Gillam), Cindy (Joseph) Brown, Raymond (Marilynne) Trusievitz, Robert Trusievitz, John (Sheila) Trusievitz and Jeffrey (Jeane) Trusievitz, daughter-in-law, Rita Trusievitz; 12 grandchildren, Brenda, Joel, Matthew, Jessica, April, Joshua, Alyssa, Jennifer, Nicholas, Jacob, Erich and Michael and 13 great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Fay Morrow. He was predeceased by his grandson Benjamin and brothers and sisters, Walter (Doris), Henry (Alice) and Edward Trusievitz, Helen Shannon, Rose (Ellis) Stuart and Lillian (Edward) Bedner.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial with military honors will be in the Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Legion Riders, c/o Charles E. Wescott Post 173, 14 W. William Street, Bath, NY 14810.
