Ronald E. King, age 85, of Bath, NY passed Saturday, March 25, 2017. Ron was born May 4th, 1931 to Warren and Inez King. Ron was predeceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth A. King of 59 years. Ron was also predeceased by son Mark King, brother Daniel (Ruth) King and sister Agnes (Derv) Rowland. He is survived his children, David C. King of Rochester, NY, Brenda (Mark) White of Helena, MT, Rhonda (Mark) Tobias of Bath, NY, Neal (Hilda) King of San Marcos, CA, 18 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Ron served in the Korean Conflict and was very dedicated to his country, family and friends. Always put everyone before himself and would go without so someone else didn't have to. A true American and neighbor. Anyone who has had the honor of meeting Ron King knows what hole the community now has. Calling hours will be held on Thursday March 30th from 12:00-2:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Brad Benson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
