Sherry L. Zydanowicz-Hoad, age 69, of Bath, NY died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital of Bath, NY. She was born May 29, 1948 in Bath, NY the daughter of the late Walter and Donna (Finch) Zydanowicz. She graduated from Haverling Central School in 1966. Sherry retired from Philips Lighting in Bath. She was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 Auxiliary. She loved books and truly enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her flower beds. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Hoad; two daughters, Tauni (Spencer) Meese and Dacie (Jim) Thater; stepchildren, Michael (Kayla) Hoad, Samantha (Brent) Fisher and Alisha Hoad; grandchildren, Cassandra, Olivia, Connor, Jaxon, Cerissa, Jameson, Jonathan, Gavin and Wyatt; great grandchildren, Colin, Granger and Winter; sisters, Kim (Roger) Pruden and Terry Sack, brother, Bryan (Penny) Zydanowicz and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and nephew Jesse Pruden and favorite bird Fred. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sherry's name may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 5147, 7161 State Route 54, Bath, NY 14810.
