Joyce (Allen) Trusievitz, age 83, was born November 29, 1933 in Bath, NY the daughter of Almyra Allen. She lived all her life in Bath and passed away in Texas on July 14th after a short stay with her daughter. She was married to Stanley Trusievitz for 61 years and they have six children and 28 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked at Dutch Dairy and Babcock Theaters while in high school. She worked for NY Telephone Company for several years and retired from the Bath VA Medical Center serving as an admissions clerk. Mrs. Trusievitz enjoyed working with crafts, shopping, eating out and time on the front porch with family and friends. Survivors include her children; Marie Watson (Wayne Gillam) of Garland, TX, Cindy (Joseph) Brown of Lockport, NY, Raymond (Marilynne) Trusievitz of Jacksonville, FL, Bob Trusievitz of Monahans, TX, John (Sheila) Trusievitz of Jesup, GA and Jeff (Jeanne) Trusievitz of New Smyrna Beach, FL, daughter-in-law, Rita Trusievitz of Horseheads, NY, brother-in-law, Fay Morrow of Lockport, NY and special friend, Jackie Simons-Summers. She was predeceased by her mother, Almyra Allen, husband, Stanley Trusievitz, sister, Audrey Morrow and grandson Benjamin Trusievitz. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday July 21, 2017 at the Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers we request donations be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 7315 State Rte 54, Bath, NY 14810, supporting Joyce's love for cats.
