Obituary of Helen L. Ogden

Helen L. Ogden, age 68, of Savona, NY died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Corning Hospital. Helen was born March 2, 1949 in Corning, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ivan and the late Margarite LaBarr. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her son: Chuckie Ogden; sister, Betty Laughlin; and brother, Barney Laughlin. Helen loved her family and she especially enjoyed square dancing.

She is survived by her husband: Harry L. Ogden , two daughters: Brenda (Jamie) Austin and Cheryl (Rich) Andrews, and three sons: David (Becky) Ogden, Robert Ogden and Jeffrey Ogden, she also has eleven grandchildren; Amanda (Nate) Austin; Brittany (Nate) Austin; Ashala (Matt) Ogden; Christopher (Katlynn) Ogden; Shelby (Justin) Ogden; Dustin Andrews; Brett Andrews; Dakota Ogden; Devin Ogden; Tiffany Woodworth; Constance Ogden; 7 great grandchildren; Riley Brooks, Caden Wilber, Maliyah Buckle, Makaily & Hunter Ogden, Madalynn Caparulo and Korbin Smith. She is also survived by one brother, Robert (MaryLou) Laughlin.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 30th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday, August 31st from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral Home 35 W. Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral Services will be held by Rev. Ted Brennan at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Seamans Cemetery, Savona.
