Obituary of Daniel C. Shelhamer

Daniel C. Shelhamer, age 85, of Wayne, NY died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center of Elmira, NY after a long illness. He was born in Rochester, NY, June 3, 1932, the son of the late Clark and Bertha (Taft) Shelhamer. Mr. Shelhamer was an US Navy veteran. He had worked for the Local 109 Union in Ithaca, NY. He was a member of the American Legion in Wayne, NY and the Elks Club in Corning, NY. He enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his son Daniel J. Shelhamer of Himrod, NY and his daughter, Susan Shelhamer-Bond of Elmira Heights, NY and his grandchildren, Robert (Cody) Bond and Jerry Bond Jr. both of AZ. He was predeceased by his wife Sharon Shelhamer on September 25, 2009.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
