Madge Kennard, age 85, of Bath, NY, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center of Elmira, NY. She was born in Royalton, New Brunswick, Canada on September 28, 1932, the daughter of Hadden and Astella (O'Neal) West. Mrs. Kennard was a member of the Bath Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. She married Donald W. Kennard on November 10, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children, Dale Kennard of SC, Neil Kennard of Elmira, NY, Susan (Ignacio) Delara of Los Angeles, CA, Annie (Lewis) Evola of CT, Danny Kennard of Rockhill, SC, Elaine Kennard of Rochester, NY, Henry Kennard of Bath, NY, James (Cassie) Kennard of Prattsburgh, NY, George (Carin) Kennard of Burdett, NY and Delia Hall of Corning, NY; 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; two sisters: Mavis Donovan and Judy (Dale) Anderson ,of New Brunswick Canada, and her brother, Bob (Beverly) West also of New Brunswick Canada. In addition to her parents and husband she was also predeceased by her son Paul Kennard, daughter Melissa Kennard, brother Billy West and sister Beatrice Kennard. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall in Bath on a date to be announced.
