Jacalyn (Jackie) Marie Nagy Cole Jackie Cole, age 66, of Hammondsport, NY, died at home on December 17th after a long battle with lymphoma. She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Warren Dickson Cole, her daughter Heather Marie Cole and son-in-law Jason Tyrrell and two grandchildren Cole James Tyrrell and Zoe Marie Tyrrell of Chicago, IL; her daughter Holly Porter Cole and son-in-law Christopher Martell of Coogee, Australia. Jackie was predeceased by her father James Steven Nagy and mother Helen Marie Gallagher Nagy both of Easton, PA. Jackie was born in Philipsburg, NJ and graduated from Wilson Borough High School (1968) and Alderson Broaddus University (BA Education 1972). Jackie was a quiet woman who always put others first, especially her family. Her unique laugh and captivating smile brightened any gathering. Jackie will be sorely missed by all she touched. She taught second grade, owned and managed Brown Bag Gifts on Market Street in Corning, was a local marketing representative for Corning Museum of Glass, buyer for Arnot Ogden Hospital gift shop, and a stay at home mom when it mattered most. She was a member of the United Church of Painted Post where she volunteered at the pantry. A memorial service will be held at the United Church of Painted Post 201 North Hamilton Street, Painted Post, NY at 11 am Saturday, December 30th. Flowers can be sent to the church.
