Mark: I cannot express how shocked and saddened I am about Lori. The two of you were an institution and I don't ever just think of one of you; it's always been and always will be Mark and Lori. My wife died last April so I have a sense of what you face. I live in western NC and my deck hangs over the Hiawassee River and I know all of the trout fly fishers in the area. I have a guest cottage and you are welcome if you can get away or need to get away (we even allow metal flake bass boats on Chatuge).
Lori was a fine and honorable person; an unusual commodity at lovely HVCC. I miss you both and please keep in touch. it will help.

Lori was a woman of friendliness and dedication to her work at Hudson Valley Community College. I enjoyed our conversations with her whenever I had the opportunity to visit her office for business or for just general reasons.
I haven't seen her since her retirement a few years ago but I understand she did much traveling with Mark and enjoyed doing many other things to keep her occupied.
She will be missed by many.
