Obituary of David L. Elliott

David L. Elliott, age 70, of Savona, NY died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center of Elmira, NY. He was born in Corning, NY the son of the late Clarence R. and Genevieve Mae (Tuttle) Elliott. He graduated from Savona Central School where he earned the Section 5 Wrestling Championship two times. Mr. Elliott was an US Air Force Veteran of Vietnam. He retired from Polly-O Dairy. He was a member of the C.E.W. Post 173 American Legion in Bath. He enjoyed going to auctions and sales with his wife. He is survived by his wife Kathleen J. (Baltus) Elliott of Savona, NY, son Jason (Leslie) Elliott and their children, Nathan and Genevieve Elliott of Penn Yan, NY, daughter Lisa Thompson and her son Alex Thompson of Myrtle Beach, SC and daughter Sara (Greg) Elliott-Jackson and her son Aiden Smith of Penn Yan, NY; step daughters, Deborah Wetherup (Carl Hazen) of Spencer, NY and her children, Timothy Kelly II of Corning, NY and Brittany (Chris) Lattimore of Providence, RI and Tammy (Sean) Wetherup-Wu of Coral Springs, FL; great grandchildren, Aurora Kelly and Timothy Kelly III; brothers, James (Dorothy) Elliott of Bradford, NY, Roy Elliott and Daniel Elliott both of Savona , NY; sisters, Susan Elliott of Bath, Shirley (Bob) Myers of Corning, NY and Joann (Rick) Irwin of FL; brothers-in-law, Gerald (Alice) Baltus of Arizona and Ivan (Helen) Baltus of Ontario, Canada and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Manzer and grandson, Brennan Templar. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday April 2, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Jeff Childs officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, at the Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in David Elliott's name may be made to the Wrestling Team at Campbell-Savona Central School District, 8455 County Route 125,Campbell, NY 14821.
