Obituary of Richard Melvin Willover

Richard Melvin Willover, 97, has peacefully passed away on May 23, 2018 at his home on 4 Dogwood Street, Bath, New York. Richard was born to Walter and Marguerite (Dorsey) Willover on November 21, 1920 in Cuba, New York. Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was Honorably Discharged in 1946. Richard enjoyed a career in education and retired as District Superintendent of the Attica Jr. Sr. High Schools in Attica, New York. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Rosamond (Rollins) of 74 years. Also surviving are his three children, Larry, Linda and Leslie, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Richard was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his family. There will be no services at this time. Donations can be made to Care First, 3805 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, 14870.
