Obituary of Raymond S. Karwoski

Raymond S. Karwoski, age 86, of Bath, NY, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at theTaylor Health Center in Bath, NY. He was born in the town of Urbana, NY, October 2, 1931, the son of Stanley and Mary (Tylenda) Karwoski. Ray was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from the Bath VAMC. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5147 of Bath and the North Cameron Grange where he received a 60 year member recognition. He was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 and St. John Vianney Parish in Bath. He is survived by nieces, Betty Orcutt, Kathy (Ken) Britnell, Jeannie Meads and Connie (Gerald) Basore, nephew, John (Linda) Karwoski; great nephews, Steven Orcutt, Tim (Patricia) Orcutt, Joe Orcutt and William Karwoski, great niece, Rachel (Robert) Dahlin and several great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce on 11/15/2011; brothers, John, Connie, Joseph and Leon, sister Rosalie and nephews, David and Donald. Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 5th from 12:00-2:00 & 5:00-7:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday July 7th at St. Mary's Church in Bath with Father James Jaeger as Celebrant. Graveside services will follow with military honors at the Bath National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
