John L. "Jake" Geniviva, 60, of Hammondsport NY passed away peacefully on
Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home on Keuka Lake.

John was born on October 14, 1957 in Ellwood City to the late Albert and
Betty Geniviva. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1975.  He
went on to earn his Masters degree in Business from the University of
Pittsburgh.  He worked for Corning Inc. for 30 years and retired in 2014.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends on Keuka
Lake. 

John is survived by his wife Lou Ann (Morgan) Geniviva and his daughters
Amanda (Tyler) Carson of Herndon, VA, Lauren Geniviva of Pittsburgh, and
Morgan Geniviva of Hammondsport NY; his grandson Luke Carson; three siblings
and their spouses Sharon and Louis Scialdone of Ellwood City; Albert and
Janice Geniviva of Gibsonia; Christine and Robert Giancola of Ellwood City;
as well as many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Betty Geniviva.

As per John's wishes there will not be a public service.   A private family
memorial will be held in Ellwood City.

Memorial contributions, in John's name, may be made to the ALS Association
of Western PA Chapter , 416 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15209
