Please accept my condolences on the loss of your loved one. Mr. McDonald obviously lived a life giving and sharing joy to those around him. I was struck by the statement that he was a true role model who brought joy and laughter to his family and friends. It brings to mind a scripture at Romans 12:8- "the one who encourages, let him give encouragement; the one who distributes, let him do it liberally; the one who presides, let him do it diligently; the one who shows mercy, let him do it cheerfully." In a world that can often be cold, how refreshing to see that Richard lived his life in such an encouraging way to others.
