Rose Mary Cacace, 89, of Campbell, New York passed away peacefully Sunday January 13, 2019 at Keuka Comfort Care Home, Penn Yan, New York.  Rose was born in Middletown, Delaware to Pietro and Maria Russo on October 2, 1929. She attended Campbell Central School and graduated in 1946. She went on to earn a business secretarial degree from Bryant & Stratton in Buffalo. She worked as a Secretary and Accountant for Ingersoll Rand and Polly-o Dairy Products].  She participated in bowling leagues in Corning for many years, and was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Mets Fan throughout her life. Rose was a parish community leader at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Campbell where she served faithfully for more than 50 years.  She volunteered at Corning Hospital and served on the committee for the Annexation of the Campbell-Savona School District. 

Rose is survived by her husband Matt of Campbell,  her sons Matt (Kristin) of Birmingham, AL, Greg (Martha) of Campbell, Tom (Stephanie) of Syracuse, grandchildren Megan, Cameron, Grant, Emilee, Elise, Francesca, Julianna, and Ryan, great grandchild Knox, her brother Francis of Brookville, NY, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, seven brothers and sisters and her daughter Anne.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at St, Joseph’s Church, Campbell, NY on Friday January 18th at 11:00am with Reverend Pat Conner as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bath, NY. Visitation will be held at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath on Thursday January 17th at 1-3 and 6-8 pm. 

Memorial donations may be made to Keuka Comfort Care Home, PO Box 107, 35 RT 54 East Lake Road, Penn Yan, New York 14527.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the entire staff of Keuka Comfort Care Home.
