It was my privilege to serve for many years as Maurice's family physician. I always enjoyed visiting with him. Maurice was an exemplary individual, caring husband and family man, and helpful to friends and neighbors. After I retired, when we met he never failed to ask about the Bald Eagle nest at Mossy Bank Park. He was an admirable example for all.
