BTC Ward Francis Neeley, age 78, of Bath, NY died March 3, 2019 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, with his wife and daughter by his side.  He was born July 22, 1940 in Hornell, NY the son of James and Orlena (Bussard) Neeley. He was a graduate of Alfred Almond High School Class of 1959. Mr. Neeley proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy where he retired as a Chief Veteran (BTC). After his retirement, he worked 20 years as a boiler technician at the Bath VA Medical Center. He was a member of the (FRA) Fleet Reserve Association and the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 in Bath. He loved to watch baseball and basketball games and spending time on his computer, chatting with his family and friends.
 
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carol (Davis) Neeley of Bath, NY, daughter Robyn Neeley of Washington, DC; sisters, Norma Rudloff of Lagrangeville, NY and Rita White of Hornell, NY; brothers, Donald (Sue) Neeley of Jacksonville, FL, Richard Neeley of Hornell, NY and Rodney (Theresa) Neeley of Jacksonville, FL; brothers-in-law, Larry (Marsha) Davis of Cohocton, NY and John (Joanne) Davis of Toms River, NJ;  several nieces and nephews and Nikki his dog.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
