Obituary of Patricia M. Eichler

Patricia Smith Eichler of Howard, NY born September 30, 1959 and died November 11, 2011 at St. James Hospital with her family at her side following a five year battle with cancer. Graduating from Bath Haverling School in 1977 and attending Corning Community College, she enjoyed a long career at Eckerd's Drug Store and the Bath VA as a pharmacy technician. With her generous and outgoing personality she was always there to lend a hand to others. She loved entertaining her family and friends and delighted in decorating her home for the holidays. Predeceased by her mother, Nancy Duke, and her special nephew, Graham Andrus. Survived by her loving husband, Alan Eichler whom she married on New Year's Eve 1987 and son, Brandon Mambelli. Sisters Anne (Warren) Smith Abbey, Susan Johnson, Karen (Tom) Andrus, and Kathleen (Dan Crossman) Smith. Nieces and nephews Keegan (Tim) Manchester, their children Anna and Katherine, Kyle Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Jade Andrus. Her Aunt Helen Jane Bartron with whom she shared a special relationship. Loved by her extended family and close friends. Family and friends are invited to Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Wednesday November 16th from 2:00-4:00 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
