Obituary of Doris June Richardson

June Richardson, age 95, of Bath, NY died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. She was born June 15, 1917 in Howard, New York the daughter of Zypha and Helen Ross Swift. Mrs. Richardson was a retired Teacher from the Avoca Central School. She was a past member of the Bath Country Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bath. She volunteered for the Office of the Aging and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. (Roe) Mears of Springville, NY; three step sons, Robert (Darlene) Richardson of Cortland, NY, Tom (Joyce) Richardson of Canisteo, NY and John Richardson of Binghamton, NY, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Ellsworth L. Roe and second husband James Richardson, sister Lucille McCaskill, brother Zypha Swift and grandson David Richardson.
Friends may call on Thursday December 27th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath.
Funeral services will be follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Pickering officiating.
Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231-4596 and The First Presbyterian Church of Bath, 6 Pulteney Square, Bath, NY 148140.
