Frederick A. Rider, age 63, of Bath, NY died Monday, December 31, 2012 at home. He was born August 20, 1949 in Waterloo, NY the son of Harry and Flora Mae Tighe Rider. He was an Army Veteran. He had worked at Monroe Muffler and at Lakeview Mini Mart in Bath. He was always helping others anyway he could, and especially loved cooking and baking for others. He was an avid hunter and later in life he enjoyed doing puzzles and making model cars. His grandchildren were his life. He is survived by his lifelong friend Darlene Rider of Bath; three daughters, Brenda (John) Lawrence of Bath, NY, Ila (DJ Campbell) Rider of Bradford, NY and Angela (Charles) Naumilket of Bath, NY, grandchildren, Brittany Lawrence, Brandi Lawrence, Mitchell (Hope) Rider, Dakota Rider, Devin Rider, Destanee Naumilket and Corbin Naumilket; his great grandchild, due this month, Bella May; brothers, Burrus (Alberta) Rider, Arthur Rider, Phillip (Carla) Rider and Michael (Karen) Rider; sisters, Teresa (Terry) Trank, Vicki (Paul) Vanhorn and Connie (Bruce) Barrett. A memorial service will be held at the Clyde F. Simon Lakeview Apartments from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday January 6, 2013, you may bring a dish to pass if you wish.
