Obituary of Brunhilde Volz

Brunhilde Volz, 84, of Bath, NY, died Thursday December 8, 2011. She was born in Odessa, Ukraine, the daughter of the late Konstantin and the late Eugenie (Bartle) Frank. Mrs. Volz married Walter S. Volz June 19, 1953 and celebrated 58 years of marriage this year. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Bath, the Quota Club of Bath and she volunteered at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. She was retired Secretary Treasurer of Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars in Hammondsport, NY She is survived by her husband Walter S. Volz of Bath, daughter Susan (Brad) Gillespie of Rochester, NY, son Eric (Diane) Volz of Bath, NY; six grandchildren, Gregor, Torsten and Andrea Gillespie and Kara, Marissa and Jennifer Volz, her sister Helene Schelling of Catskill, NY, several nieces and nephews and her many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Willi Frank. Friends may call Today Sunday December 11th from 2:00-4:00pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm at St. Mary's Church in Bath with Reverend Pat Connor s celebrant assisted by Deacon Dave Lafortune. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mrs. Volz's name may be made to St. Mary's Church, Bath, NY or a charity of one's choice.
