I was one of Ivan's wives - he called my boyfriend "beware" and I will have many wonderful memories of him coming by the farm and being sure the boys had a safe pony. Real one of kind man...will be missed

I have wonderful memories of going with my dad to the livestock market in Pavilion. My dad was the auctioneer (in the 60's & early 70's) there. Ivan was always there and was always so nice to me. He was a bear of a businessman but had the heart of a teddybear towards friends and little kids. Our families (Crittendens & Kents) still talks about him after all these years and it's always with fond memories and funny stories. I never met Ivan's sons but always felt like I knew them because Ivan talked about them and how they were doing. There will never be another person and cattle dealer like Ivan Pelham.

When I was a kid Ivan was like a father to me. He took me to the cattle sales with him. We later became enemies after I got in the cattle business. Then after I got out of the business we were best of friends. Whenever I was in Bath I always went to visit Ivan and I called him on the phone every couple of weeks. He will be missed.

I grew up running around Empire Livestock and Ivan was a friend of my fathers. I was always wanting a chocolate bar so Ivan always made sure he had a dollar for me. My children had the priviledge of meeting him and he remembered my love of chocolate so he gave my chidren money as well. He will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten
