Like others we knew Marcia through Bob and were shocked and saddened to hear of her death. Marcia was a talented designer (among her many talents) and when we look at parts of our house today we think of her legacy. Our sincerest condolences go to her family and to the Narde family.

I was lucky to meet Marcia when she and Bob came to my wedding to Mike O'Brien, Bob's godson. Marcia was the most gracious person I have ever met, and her gentle spirit and sense of humor kept everyone smiling. I am so sorry for your loss. Marcia was very dear to me, even given the short times we were able to visit with each other. We have lost a very kind and gifted woman.

I was so sorry to read of Marcia's passing. I last saw her over 25 years ago when she was architect for the home of my partner. While I have fading memories of that occasion, I will always hold her vividly in my mind's eye as a teenager, my older brother's friend who gave comfort after his death and, of course, my friend Bud's older sister. It's clear that Marcia went on to a fulfilling and giving life well beyond those limited roles. My sincere condolences to all of her family.

I am so saddened for your family. Marcia and I were friends since the age of 3 in Sunday School. We were in the same classes throughout Elementary and Highschool. I was so happy to see her at our HS Reunion. We laughed and chatted and it was as though no time had passed since we saw each other, even though it was many years. Please know that she was loved and respected throughout her life and she loved all of you very much. I am working in WV, but I would surely be there to show my respect on Friday, if I could. God Speed.
