I was @ Don Simmons house and he made me feel so special and we went to dinner with Uncle Don he was a very special person to me and I used to calls I me and uncle Don shared the love of Football I love the Dolphins and loved the Atlanta Falcons he was one of the kindest people I ever met and I’ll always remember Don Simmons for his great and wonderful heart he was just a wonderful person inside and out and mind me and my mother feel special he’ll never be forgotten
Don was an amazing man. He loved my sister Cora very much. We have wonderful memories with him at Keuka Lake and in Marco Island. He loved to entertain friends and family. He was so much fun to be around. Being on the water in his boats was his happy place. Don you will be greatly missed but always in our hearts!
This is a beautiful description of Don’s exceptional life. Unfortunately, the author(s) neglected to include my mother, Don’s wife, Lorraine (Freddie) Simmons, in his story. Despite the geographical distance, they remained married until his death. My mom has many good memories with Don, Patti, his parents, and friends. My mother, and our family, shares in the sadness of his passing.
