Pam, Shelly, and Kyle ( and Kim and Irvin), I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. I only met Kim and Irvin each once, but I know this loss, and hope you find comfort in your memories, and Kim, in your selfless caregiving. I met Dusty and your Dad a couple of times when visiting their home on Keuka, with Pam, and once or twice, when they came to our side of Seneca Lake, back in the day. They opened their home to me and were very fun hosts. I also enjoyed Dusty's spunkyness and bold humor. I felt a connection to both your Dad and Mom because of their humor and welcoming personalities. Pam, now I know where you get your love for reading from! Please try to remember the good times, and cherish those. Sending my love to all, Bonnie Griffith (neighbor across the road, in Caywood, from Pam).

Dusty's spark lit up a room, she could have danced with Fred Astaire, she snapped to attention when "Lena Maude!" was shouted. We'll always remember fondly our times together, which were many. Our sympathy to you "kids". Your loving care for your parents' late years has been admirable.

Dusty was a delightful, funny lady. I enjoyed her stories and our jaunts to Dr. appointments, usually topped off with ice cream. On a pillow shopping
excursions, I cleared the aisle so she could 'test' the pillows. Passersby smiled, Dusty got the pillow she wanted. She is loved and she will be missed. Kim, my deepest sympathy at your and your familiy's loss. Esther Covell
