Curt graduated from Alfred Tech and managed the family farm for more than forty years. Initially Hopkins Dairy Farm produced and bottled milk marketed door to door as well as through Hopkins Dairy stores. In recent years the farm converted to selling beef and grain in the local community.

He led the local USDA Board and facilitated the Cooperative Extension program known as Farm City Days.
Curt will be dearly missed by his family, his many friends, and the community he served.
